Abstract A Program Evaluation of: A Work in Progress-a 501 (3) A Women's Recovering Community By Elizabeth Leon-Sanchez Master of Social Work Purpose: The purpose of this study was to measure this agency's application of the recovery model process. Methods: This study used the INSPIRE measure to evaluate two important aspects of the recovery process. One is how the program participants feel about their own individual recovery journey. Second was to measure how the client's recovery process was being supported by agency staff. Results: Results indicated that the client's recovery process and the recovery support provided by the agency staff is aligned. Using the CHIME framework, results indicated that the clients felt positive about their recovery process as well as being supported by the agency staff; support (p .52), relationships (p .52), service support (p.77), community (p.63) and clients future (p.83). Discussion and Implications: This study demonstrates an agency's process of the recovery model approach. Future studies may want to focus on service providers using supportive housing agencies to alleviate and decrease housing insecurities. Keywords: Program Evaluation, Applied Recovery Model Approach, Women's Community Based Programs, Mental health and Substance Disorders programs, Evidence Based Practices.
